A grad trip that travels the country.
Beach, yes. But also the first city of the Americas, mountain waterfalls, mangroves with Taíno rock art and the cleanest dry forest in the Caribbean. Two routes, one group, memories that don't fit in a resort. Airfare is purchased separately.
Pick a route and tap each stop
Both routes start and end in Punta Cana and pass through Santo Domingo on the way out and back. What changes is the heart of the trip: the Atlantic and Samaná, or the deep south to Bahía de las Águilas.
Five different landscapes on one island
Every stop is a different ecosystem. The coordinator and local guide explain it along the way: what it is, why it's there and how it's protected.
Reef and mangrove
Punta Cana. Beaches sheltered by the Caribbean's second-largest coral reef and freshwater lagoons at Ojos Indígenas.
Colonial Zone
Santo Domingo. First cathedral, first university and first hospital in the Americas. UNESCO World Heritage.
Puerto Plata
River waterfalls at Damajagua, the cable car up Isabel de Torres and the clearest amber in the world.
Samaná & Los Haitises
Limestone karst hills, mangroves and caves with Taíno rock art. El Limón waterfall and Playa Rincón.
Pedernales & Jaragua
Bahía de las Águilas, Oviedo Lagoon and Hoyo de Pelempito. Iguanas, flamingos and the country's most untouched beach.
Live it, remember it, learn it
A different grad trip: the group connects with Dominican culture by doing things, not watching them from a bus.
Hands-on
Rafting, boats, horses, caves, cable cars, cooking. Every day something you can't do at home.
Memories
Group photographer at key stops, a storytelling bonfire in the mountains and the Scool graduation night to close.
Learning
Colonial history, Taíno peoples, ecosystems and conservation. With a certified local guide and materials for the school.
Dominican culture
Merengue and bachata workshop, market, cacao and coffee, lunch in a Dominican home. The real island.
